General interpretation of Relativity

Relativity :

Introduction

It simply states that 'Laws of Nature' or 'Laws of Physics' works same for both observer (Observer in non-accelerating frame and accelerating frame). For many students relativity is a complex word but it is not.

Meaning :

Let's take an Example, you are travelling in a train. You are in motion and moving with reference to stationary ground and you are stationary with reference to train. Laws of physics is same for both the cases.
Same can be applied for anywhere in universe. Every objects in our universe behaves same under the laws of physics. Except Light ! It behaves differently.

Light made up of photons (Photons are mass-less particles. Considered as a packets of energy according to Plank). Let's take a box in absolute vacuum  which has a mirrors on it's opposite face and photon bounces continuously between two mirrors. One complete bounce from bottom to top, top to bottom considered as a one second or one tick of the clock (Standard for one second).

This above case is for absolute vacuum or in space. Speed of light is given by Distance 'd' divided by time 't'. For accelerating frame like in gravitational field on earth photon has to travel more distance as shown below. As per general formula if distance increases speed of light also increases. But Michelson-Morley experiment shows that Speed of Light is constant, which is 'C' = 299 792 458 m / s

Accelerating frame
If light speed is constant and distance is more in gravitational field then something has to give up for constant light speed and that something is time. Ticking of clock become slower in moving frame speed, time almost stops for the observer moving at a speed of light. This concept is known as 'Time Dilation'. As we move away from earth time dilation becomes significant. Generally this phenomenon observed in our satellites, their clocks re 3 to 4 microsecond slower than on earth.
